Today's prompt is simply this "If I were a pair of shoes."

Today I decided I'd do a little poem because Why Not?
Brown leather
Gathering Dust
In his closet
Black laces
Still tied
Into neat little bows
No light
No sounds
Just dust
The cold reaches the
soft brown leather
made for trekking mountains
But it has been snowy
